A New Consultation Diary Published to Support the Work of Consult21
Talking to customers to gain their views and requirements on specific aspects of the 21CN programme is vital to the work of Consult 21. Find out more about how these activities are managed via the consultation process and supported by the publication of a new easy to use consultation diary showing current activity.
Each Consult21 working group may have several consultations running at any one time, each one addressing specific aspects of the 21CN programme. These could for example be around requirements for a product or a pricing structure etc. As the consultations are inclusive, all customers are welcome to join, where appropriate. This means that the process may involve bilateral as well as working group meetings.
The process starts with the issuing of a consultation document (condoc) showing the topics to be consulted on via the Consult 21 website with agreed timescales for responses. This allows customers time to raise issues, requirements, questions and other requests for information (RFI’s) as they feel appropriate. All responses to the condoc will be handled within working groups where possible or passed to other experts within the business to answer. The responses are then passed back to the appropriate BT teams to consider and incorporate within the 21CN programme where appropriate.
The consultation process has proved to be a good way of progressing the work of Consult21 across all working groups, with key examples being the Interconnect and Portfolio working groups consultations on the Multi-Service Interconnect Link and NGN call conveyance.
In order for you to see at a glance what activity is being undertaken at any time, the Consult21 team have published a Consultation Diary which is available on the Consult21 website at www.btwholesale.com.
The diary shows:
